While not quite a gang or a cult, they come close to both. Goons can usually be found in their makeshift gym/clubs, lifting things that should never be attempted by normal people and downing power-milkshakes that would make a normal person gag just from the smell. They often run underground and illegal boxing clubs and make pretty good hired muscle if you have the money to pay them. Most of them look more like a gorilla than a human due to an illegal combination of drugs and genetic augmentation.

Doom Rollers

Tweakers augmented through black market cybernetics and robotics until they are more machine than human. Their appearance is heavy on the shiny steel and visible augmentations and is meant to serve as a warning to others. They eat nanobots like they’re candy and are always high on something (usually LUN-1) sure to make them hell to deal with.

One Doom Roller is a handful but can be managed. Get two or three of them coming at you, and it’s usually best to run. Due to their insane nature, expect a change in leadership every few months.

Deacons of the Abyss

Deacons believe G0d lives in code, and spend their days praying to their keyboards and monitors, searching for signs from their savior. While extremely religious, the gang can also be quite helpful if you need to hack into a competitor’s digital wallet or alter someone’s criminal record. Surviving an encounter with a Deacon seems like a 50/50 chance depending on whether or not they can validate your impurities in God’s eyes. Their line of reasoning and logic is also often easily manipulated, especially if you offer the right amount of SOL.

The Orphans

This is where most poor kids start. Young, vast numbers, and ruthless. They’re not to be trusted. The type of person that would steal anything that’s not nailed down. Most of The Orphans go on to be semi-normal citizens of Dream City if they aren’t arrested or killed. The talented among the group begin their life of crime and graduate to more formidable gangs.

The gang is led by Pyotr (last name unknown) who truly was an orphan as a child. He’s as charismatic as he is irrational and unstable, you never want to make a deal with this man. Pyotr is older, but no one really knows his age. He wears different porcelain faceplates and is highly augmented.
